  • Ability to juggle multiple demands and handle difficult guests
  • Availability for flexible workweek, including holidays, weekends, and overtime during busy periods
  • General computer knowledge and experience with cashier/customer service preferred
  • Previous use of SMS or other reservations systems a plus
  • Timely and reliable attendance
  • Written, spoken, and reading proficiency in English
  • Ability to perform repetitive data entry, stand for long periods, and occasionally lift luggage up to 20 lbs
  • Availability for specific shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday 8am-2pm, and one Wednesday 2pm-10pm, from December 2, 2025, through January 2, 2026

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests
  • Answer phones
  • Check guests in/out
  • Provide information about the resort and Mad River Valley
  • Process charges when selling resort products/services
  • Respond to guest needs
  • Balance guest accounts
  • Work with the resort's information systems
  • Perform tasks in a welcoming, professional, positive, accurate, prompt, and courteous manner, putting guest interests first
  • Print lift tickets for groups and guests during winter season
