Responsibilities

Identify and respond to shop tool, equipment, and facility maintenance needs timely and effectively
Manage projects and tasks independently from start to finish with initiative and time management
Build and nurture collaborative relationships across teams for open communication and project execution
Adapt to evolving priorities and take on additional responsibilities as assigned
Promote and maintain a clean, organized, and professional shop environment
Maintain appropriate shop inventory levels by anticipating needs and managing restock proactively
Perform or schedule preventative maintenance and inspections on shop tools, equipment, and vehicles
Assist in space planning and shop reconfiguration to support project requirements
Seek guidance from experienced team members and apply best practices to improve outcomes
Operate CNC flatbed router, hotwire foam cutter, and other shop machinery
Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other material-handling equipment to load/unload inventory, mockups, and equipment
Safely operate Teague box truck for picking up and delivering goods in greater Seattle area, including loading, securing, and unloading
Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols, report hazards, and reinforce safety culture
Conduct regular vehicle inspections and coordinate or schedule maintenance
Perform physical shop tasks such as lifting, working from ladders or platforms, and blocking/bracing/securing
