High School diploma or GED equivalency
Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
Tools (hammer, screwdrivers, channel locks, multimeter, allen wrenches, pliers, knife, flashlight)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (written follow-up, ability to explain solutions to resident issues, etc.)
Self-motivated, highly customer focused, technically skilled, fast moving, and technologically proficient (ideal candidate traits)
Ability to perform physically demanding work: standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing all day; lift and/or move items over 50 pounds; specific vision abilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, adjust focus)
Regularly required to talk and listen

Responsibilities

Complete thorough inspections of buildings, units and homes (including move-out, make ready, and onboarding inspections)
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on apartments and single family homes, including units, common areas and amenities
Ensure heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems are functioning as intended
Perform test for proper functionality and have general knowledge of HVAC components
Complete internally managed service requests
Prepare vacant units for new move-ins
Perform quality assurance inspections of work completed by outside vendors
Ensure proper removal and disposal of trash, if needed
Use a variety of hand and power tools
Respond to on-call and potentially after hours emergencies in a timely manner
Work in a safe manner and recognize unsafe situations. Take appropriate action to ensure safety of themselves and others in building
Serve as Mynd’s “on-the-ground” ambassador; post legal notices and inside maps across the property
