Requirements

High School Diploma (GED) preferred
Good oral communication skills
Ability to interact politely and effectively with customers
Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
Ability to work in a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures), exposed to outside weather conditions, with low to moderate noise levels

Responsibilities

Provide highly satisfactory service and assistance to guests
Bag groceries using proper bagging supplies and techniques
Provide carry-out service to vehicles for guests
Retrieve carts from parking area, collect, return, clean, and organize shopping carts
Empty bottle bins, clean bottle machines & bottle return area
Perform janitorial duties and maintain a clean, attractive and well-stocked department
Handle spoiled/damaged products per established guidelines
Know the location of products in the store and have familiarity with products carried
Load groceries into customers’ vehicles
Perform cleaning duties and other assigned work in a timely manner
Work independently of others
Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines
Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations
Follow Guest Experience Guidelines
Ensure the shift contributes to the financial best interests of the store
Complete all other duties as assigned in a timely manner
May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need
