About the Role

The Commerce Design team defines the viewer and creator monetized experiences across our product ecosystem, building and maintaining a cross-platform live streaming service that supports the growth and development of streamer-based communities. In this role, you will be leading the evolution and maintenance of core monetization features such as subscriptions, bits, and gifting. You will lead projects from conception all the way through execution and iteration, where the strategy, goals, vision, and execution are not defined. You will work with multiple senior XFN partners across orgs, represent work to executive leadership, and guide and mentor junior designers. If you are a champion for designing for humans and creating playful and caring experiences for communities, you will flourish on this team.

Responsibilities

• Lead design strategy and execution for Twitch’s commerce features.
• Create designs and prototypes for presentation to execs and peers, and handoff to engineering partners.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional development team of product managers, engineers, and designers.
• Work with our UX Research and Data Science teams to combine qualitative and quantitative information to develop hypotheses about customer motivations and use that to improve your designs.
• Learn from streamers and viewers about the ways they use our services and imagine the future of the service.
• Help shape Twitch's design future by evolving our design systems and mentoring designers across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in designing for monetization features, ideally within tech or digital product environments.
• A portfolio that demonstrates excellent visual craft and systematic thinking.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate visual decisions with clarity.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts through storytelling and narrative techniques.

Bonus Points

• Experience in video content, social media, or streaming platforms.
• Experience as a content creator.
• Workshop facilitation experience.
• Formal education in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.

Compensation & Location Information

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
