Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of 7 years in clinical or laboratory management
  • OR advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years in clinical or laboratory management
  • Proven lab management experience with strong attention to detail and safety (Nice to Have)
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and prioritization skills (Nice to Have)
  • Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate across stakeholders (Nice to Have)
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred (Nice to Have)
  • Availability for night and weekend work as required
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20%
  • Minimum 4 days a week onsite in Lafayette, CO

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and coordinate product training programs for field support personnel and customers
  • Obtain information needed to prepare training programs, training materials; develop course content, determine methodology; and coordinate the development of training aids
  • Ensure training program(s) meets company and customer objectives
  • Maintain communication with customers to ensure effectiveness of training
  • Utilize trainers with technical expertise as needed
  • Continuously revise plans to meet new training requirements and keep technical information up to date
  • Lead, direct, and review the work of team members to accomplish operational plans and results
  • Conduct labs in a safe, secure, and clean environment, following regulatory requirements
  • Maintain and demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge of current surgical procedures (Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, Otology, Craniofacial, etc.), anatomy, and physiology
  • Manage and execute logistical setup, setting up, dismantling, and cleaning of laboratory equipment
  • Manage inventory levels and equipment repairs
  • Manage specimen ordering, record keeping, and final disposition of all material, including human anatomical material
  • Answer technical questions regarding proper selection, care, and maintenance of products
  • Provide input to hiring, promotion, performance, and rewards decisions
  • Oversee customer training and education programs, including product workshops, consultative labs, and medical education events
  • Balance competing requests from stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Medical Education, R&D, and Meeting Services while prioritizing strategically and maintaining sustainable operations
