Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years background in the medical devices business area
  • Previous clinical experience (advantageous)
  • Experienced in medical education strategy and implementation (desirable)
  • Foundational knowledge of Competency Based Education concepts
  • Proven ability to create/localize medical education training materials
  • High level communications and presentation skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Plans, develops, and coordinates in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers
  • Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids
  • Ensures training program(s) meets company and customer objectives
  • Maintains communication with customers to ensure effectiveness of training
  • May utilize trainers with technical expertise
  • Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date
  • Creates and implements programs that support Sales Force Training and Medical Education Pathways to develop therapy knowledge and application skills of sales and health care professionals
  • Executes procedural and clinical education programs for targeted groups of HCPs in alignment with strategic objectives
  • Engages with key local key opinion leaders
  • Designs local context educational programs and creates/implements new strategies to drive procedural adoption through safe & effective use training
