Requirements

  • Field-based role requiring 100% time spent with external customers in the territory (Portland OR, Alaska, Salem, Bend, Eugene, Beaverton, Lakewood)
  • High level of scientific expertise in assigned products and therapeutic areas (Neuroscience, MS)
  • Ability to engage HCPs with differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label
  • Builds and maintains strong professional credibility with regional thought leaders (RTLs), community-based physicians/HCPs, private practices, medical groups, office staff, and stakeholders
  • Liaises with other BMS functions to deliver higher Customer Experience and meet HCP needs timely and scientifically
  • Prioritizes safe and appropriate use of BMS products while focusing on business results, performance objectives, and BMS values
  • Uses tools like CE^3 to derive insights, inform call plans, and provide feedback for improvement
  • Maintains working expertise on emerging data for approved indications
  • Engages real-time medical support (Medical on Call) for unsolicited questions and complex inquiries

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within defined territory/region to meet or exceed sales targets in compliant manner
  • Creates demand for BMS medicines by articulating clinical and scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients
  • Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans
  • Demonstrates scientific expertise using approved resources/publications for fair & balanced scientific dialogue with HCPs
  • Conducts in-office presentations (e.g., lunch and learns) and discusses product-related scientific information consistent with label
  • Organizes external speaker programs, selecting from approved Speakers Bureau list, and handles scheduling/logistics
  • Proactively collaborates with other field teams to ensure best Customer Experience for HCPs
  • Gathers insights and feedback to inform strategies and continuous improvement
