Responsibilities

Perform a wide variety of research and/or development laboratory tasks and experiments
Run test procedures, perform limited troubleshooting, and document systems test results
Review test procedures and correct/modify as needed
Set up equipment and supplies as required by procedures or R&D projects
Follow laboratory procedures for control of records, test variables, equipment calibration, and documentation practices
Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
Work with engineers to collect data and information related to non-formal testing or evaluation practices
Perform other duties as assigned
Assist in compiling observations, analyzing data, and interpreting results
Write experimental reports, summaries, and protocols
Perform simple troubleshooting and calibration of instruments
