Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide variety of research and/or development laboratory tasks and experiments
  • Run test procedures, perform limited troubleshooting, and document systems test results
  • Review test procedures and correct/modify as needed
  • Set up equipment and supplies as required by procedures or R&D projects
  • Follow laboratory procedures for control of records, test variables, equipment calibration, and documentation practices
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
  • Work with engineers to collect data and information related to non-formal testing or evaluation practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Assist in compiling observations, analyzing data, and interpreting results
  • Write experimental reports, summaries, and protocols
  • Perform simple troubleshooting and calibration of instruments
