The Flock engineering organization is seeking a Technical Project Manager to facilitate the successful delivery of software products by bridging the gap between embedded, cloud, mobile, and quality assurance teams. This role requires a strong focus on cross-functional alignment, particularly within the cloud, mobile, or integration engineering domains, and will involve facilitating Agile/Scrum practices. The position is also responsible for enhancing Flock’s processes and tools to improve our ability to rapidly deliver solutions to customers as our product portfolio and engineering teams expand.

Requirements

• Experience partnering with engineers to ensure timely delivery of device-related deliverables across various functional teams.
• Ability to develop project plans that are aligned with key stakeholders, including product management, operations, and leadership, ensuring dependencies are clearly defined and project goals are understood.
• Proven ability to identify gaps or risks and implement swift mitigation strategies. At Flock, we take ownership and resolve problems proactively.
• Skill in fostering a positive project environment centered on communication, including facilitating team meetings, maintaining team focus on priority tasks, documenting assumptions and decisions, and managing communication channels to ensure consistent alignment and progress.
• A technical background that enables easy navigation of our engineering environment.
• Strong experience with project management software, particularly the Atlassian suite and Jira.
• Proven experience as a member of a development team that has shipped consumer-facing software, with a preference for experience with IoT electronic devices utilizing Android.
• Demonstrated experience with Agile development and the Scrum process; Scrum Master certification is preferred.
