Requirements

5+ years’ experience in project management or engineering role (project management experience preferred)
Experience of managing a project(s) through the entire lifecycle (preferably plastics or consumer products experience)
Engineering background
Hands-on approach
Presentation/Communication skills
Skilled in Microsoft Office user, including Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in regular presentations to senior stakeholders (board of directors/executive team experience desirable)
Experience of working in fast paced, challenging environment
A technical understanding of manufacturing processes and limits
Solid works or CREO experience a plus
Experience in budget management (desirable but non-essential)
Experience in plastics or consumer goods household appliances desirable
Flexible and collaborative
Positive demeanour with an entrepreneurial nature

Responsibilities

Delivering 5* products to market (best in class product)
Ensure global teams are aligned on project direction (right product)
Ensure project schedules are up to date, progressing to plan and meet retailer requirements (right time)
Ensure global teams are up to date on project status and key issues/risks (stakeholders bought in)
Work as a part of the Engineering/TPM team
Align project direction and decision points with key members from all business disciplines
Partner with design manager/engineers with joint responsibility for delivering NPD product(s) to market (responsible for the ‘WHAT’ that is being delivered)
Understand complex technical challenges and relay information to non-technical cross-functional teams
Support the project team on some technical activities
Demonstrate good listening and influencing skills to achieve collaborative working relationships
