Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent related professional experience, with 8+ years for Bachelor's and 6+ years for Master's
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in product management with a strong track record of taking products from concept to launch
  • Extensive experience working closely with Engineering, User Experience, and Analytics teams to build impactful products customers love
  • Proficiency in running experiments (A/B, multivariate, etc.), analyzing results, and translating insights into clear and defensible product decisions
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across disciplines and levels; able to inspire, not just influence
  • High degree of curiosity and desire for continuous improvement; dig beneath the surface of data to uncover insights, ask the right questions

Responsibilities

  • Own creation of a comprehensive product vision, strategy, and roadmap to improve the Checkout experience, using strong judgment to prioritize the most impactful features and connect outputs to outcomes
  • Define new areas of investment by writing effective product requirement documents and conducting industry research to assess the product's viability, business impact, and technical feasibility
  • Stay ahead of market trends and emerging technologies in relevant fields of commerce, payments, and travel
  • Drive clarity in ambiguity, breaking down long-term visions and complex ideas into short-term milestones and concrete deliverables to test, learn, and iterate quickly
  • Define the right measures of success, set ambitious goals, and build an insight-driven roadmap to hit target outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with UX to design world-class experiences and guide trade-off decisions based on core customer needs, technical feasibility, and speed to market
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance, and relentlessly iterate to improve outcomes through controlled A/B or multivariate experimentation
  • Participate in engineering and architecture design and review processes to ensure solutions will meet current and future product needs without accumulating technical debt
  • Take ownership of managing complex stakeholder landscapes, balancing diverse interests to drive successful product outcomes on complex, cross-functional teams
  • Coach junior PMs to continuously raise the bar on essential product management skillsets
