Candidates must possess a United States Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Clearance and have at least 3 years of experience working within US federal agencies and the ServiceNow Government Community Cloud (GCC). Required experience includes ServiceNow security features like Vault and Edge Encryption, Data Privacy, and Domain Separation. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on configuration and development experience with complex technologies, including integrations and portals, is necessary. Demonstrated ability to consult and influence customers on technical solutions, including web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, Bootstrap, CSS, middleware, LDAP, SSO), SaaS technologies, data management, database design, and concepts is essential. Experience with self-hosted ServiceNow installations is also required.
The Senior Technical Consultant will act as the functional and technical expert, configuring the ServiceNow Platform based on best practices to achieve customer business outcomes. This role involves creating and delivering platform solutions with a focus on long-term technical architecture and process design, supporting platform-wide process definition, re-engineering, and gap analysis through customer workshops. Responsibilities include advising customers on leveraging ServiceNow capabilities, leading design workshops across multiple platform products, guiding customers in documentation, and drafting technically-focused user stories with acceptance criteria. The consultant will also provide oversight and training for customer system administrators, lead technical aspects of project and solution delivery, develop integration components, prepare customer-facing technical deliverables, manage multiple complex projects, promote continuous improvement, support sales activities, and provide training to delivery teams and partners. Up to 50% travel may be required.
