Candidates must possess a United States Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Clearance and have at least 3 years of experience working within US federal agencies and the ServiceNow Government Community Cloud (GCC). The role also requires ServiceNow security experience including Vault, Edge Encryption, and Data Privacy, as well as ServiceNow Domain Separation. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on configuration/development experience with complex technologies, including integrations and portals, is necessary, along with demonstrated ability to consult and influence in complex customer environments. Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, Bootstrap, CSS, middleware, LDAP, SSO, etc.), SaaS technologies, data management, database design, and database concepts is also required. Experience with self-hosted installations of the ServiceNow platform is preferred.
The Senior Technical Consultant will serve as the functional and technical expert on customer engagement teams, configuring the ServiceNow Platform based on best practices to drive customer business outcomes. This includes creating and delivering platform solutions that consider long-term technical architecture, process design, and ServiceNow technical standards. Responsibilities involve supporting platform-wide process definition, re-engineering, improvement, and gap analysis through workshops with key customer stakeholders. The consultant will advise customers on leveraging ServiceNow Platform capabilities to enhance their processes, lead customer design workshops across multiple platform products, and guide customers in completing technical documentation. They will also draft technically-focused user stories, define acceptance criteria, develop testing strategies, and conduct knowledge transfer. Additionally, the role involves guiding future system administrators, leading technical aspects of project and solution delivery, sometimes overseeing partner development, and performing unit testing. The consultant will be a lead member of project teams focused on delivering customer outcomes, developing required integration components, preparing customer-facing technical deliverables, and ensuring the quality of configured/developed solutions. They will manage multiple complex projects, promote continuous improvement in delivery materials, support sales activities as needed, and provide training and mentoring to other team members and partners. Up to 50% travel annually may be required.
