Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, secure, and reliable analytics platforms on Azure and AWS, leveraging container technologies
Administer, manage, and operate BI platforms (Power BI Premium on Azure Fabric, Tableau on AWS, Cognos on Azure Red Hat OpenShift), including data modeling and report authoring best practices
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, implement GitOps workflows, and establish CI/CD pipelines
Develop API integrations, data extraction, transformation, and loading to Databricks DB SQL
Create data source connections and install data source drivers (JDBC, ODBC)
Implement comprehensive DevSecOps practices, including security audits and vulnerability mitigation
Establish observability solutions, disaster recovery, and high availability designs
Manage identity and access management, security compliance, password/token rotations, and key vault integration
Implement Gateway connections for on-premises sources, optimize performance and cost-efficiency
Organize resources using domain-driven approach, implement FinOps practices, and resource-level cost chargeback
Participate in on-call rotations, demonstrate customer focus, and drive results in ambiguous scenarios
Implement Policy as Code and Compliance as Code for automated enforcement and governance
Influence change, accept ownership for deliverables, and explore opportunities to add value
