Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and reliable analytics platforms on Azure and AWS, leveraging container technologies
  • Administer, manage, and operate BI platforms (Power BI Premium on Azure Fabric, Tableau on AWS, Cognos on Azure Red Hat OpenShift), including data modeling and report authoring best practices
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, implement GitOps workflows, and establish CI/CD pipelines
  • Develop API integrations, data extraction, transformation, and loading to Databricks DB SQL
  • Create data source connections and install data source drivers (JDBC, ODBC)
  • Implement comprehensive DevSecOps practices, including security audits and vulnerability mitigation
  • Establish observability solutions, disaster recovery, and high availability designs
  • Manage identity and access management, security compliance, password/token rotations, and key vault integration
  • Implement Gateway connections for on-premises sources, optimize performance and cost-efficiency
  • Organize resources using domain-driven approach, implement FinOps practices, and resource-level cost chargeback
  • Participate in on-call rotations, demonstrate customer focus, and drive results in ambiguous scenarios
  • Implement Policy as Code and Compliance as Code for automated enforcement and governance
  • Influence change, accept ownership for deliverables, and explore opportunities to add value
