Ability to write at a very high level about investigations and enforcement actions by relevant regulatory agencies
Expertise in covering court cases involving key disputes in competition, data privacy and security (DP&S), and artificial intelligence

Responsibilities

Cover regulatory issues in Australia, primarily focusing on policies, enforcement actions, legislation, and court hearings in competition, data privacy and security (DP&S), and artificial intelligence
Write high-level stories on investigations and enforcement actions by regulatory agencies
Report on court cases involving key disputes in these areas
Follow legislative initiatives and actions, including new laws and regulations
Collaborate with reporters in other countries on cross-border cases
Monitor trends in Big Tech and the Internet impacting competition and DP&S
Produce daily stories providing timely, in-depth coverage relevant to readers in the global legal community
