Candidates should possess a Juris Doctor degree and be admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. state, with experience as a business-minded, technology-focused attorney preferred. They should have a comprehensive understanding and practical knowledge of laws and regulations across multiple legal disciplines, such as emerging technologies, data governance, open source, privacy, and artificial intelligence.
The Senior Counsel, Product and Privacy will serve as the primary legal advisor for product and engineering teams, building scalable review processes throughout the product development lifecycle, implement and maintain open source policies, assist product owners with data mapping and privacy assessments, champion privacy within the business, lead the company’s SDLC program, and provide legal counsel as needed to remediate deviations from the SDLC.
