Position Overview

Sanity.io is seeking an experienced Support Engineer who is passionate about helping individuals overcome technical challenges. Our growing enterprise customer base and developer community encompass a wide range of users working with diverse frameworks and technologies. In this role, you will play a significant part in interacting with developers globally. As our user base expands, we recognize the importance of developing tooling, infrastructure, and processes to promote community engagement, encourage self-reliance, streamline follow-up conversations, and extract valuable insights from user activity.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Enterprise customers to resolve technical issues and address inquiries.
  • Troubleshoot bugs, develop reusable code snippets, and create minimal reproducible examples of issues.
  • Develop standard solutions, author self-serve resources, and enhance documentation.
  • Act as the customer's advocate, leveraging feedback to contribute to product improvements.
  • Provide support to Customer Solutions and Sales teams with customer data and technical guidance during pre-sales activities.
  • Build and maintain support infrastructure, tooling, and workflows.
  • Participate in Sanity's developer community rotation to assist with user questions.
  • Liaise between customers and internal teams during incidents and escalations.
  • Continuously research best practices and stay updated on existing and upcoming features of Sanity's content platform.

About You

  • Located remotely within Europe.
  • Possess exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Have 4+ years of experience in technical developer support.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and front-end frameworks such as Next.js.
  • Proven ability to debug complex technical issues with developers and end-users.
  • A passion for empowering others to succeed and reach their full potential.
  • A demonstrated capacity for quickly learning new concepts and technologies.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative and thrives when faced with challenging, ambiguous problems.
