Requirements

Candidates are required to possess 5+ years of experience in building and delivering high-quality, web-based software products within a team environment, along with deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, GraphQL, HTML5, and CSS. Experience in building large, modular, and maintainable JavaScript codebases and reusable UI components is also necessary, as is a willingness to delve into backend code, preferably with experience or a willingness to learn Ruby on Rails or Go. Collaboration with cross-functional partners, including engineering, design, and operations, is essential.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will work closely with product and design teams to brainstorm solutions and iterate on experiments, building extensible full-stack products and contributing to the development of product experiences in a fast-paced environment. They will collaborate with backend, frontend, and full-stack engineers through code reviews, mentoring, and technical discussions, while also contributing to upleveling technical standards, software quality, and team processes. Additionally, the role involves working closely with the operations team to identify technology solutions for removing customer friction and improving efficiency.
