Position Overview

  • Location Type: Onsite (minimum 5 days per week at customer site)

AT&T Global Public Sector is seeking a Sr. Specialist, Systems Administration to provide O&M / PM support of contracted operations for the Federal Government. This role requires office presence and supports video conferencing management & troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge of video conferencing management & troubleshooting.
  • Work with SIP, H323, firewall traversal, call routing, Pexip Infinity, Poly Clariti, and integrate with cloud conferencing platforms like Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, WebEx.
  • Understand and troubleshoot IP network connections involving entities like firewall, DNS, IP ports, network routing, QOS, VPN, Zscaler, latency, jitter, packet loss.
  • Architect projects and provide technical recommendations about emerging needs.
  • Familiar with configuring and troubleshooting hardware VTC devices, software VTC clients, and Microsoft Teams Room devices, e.g. Crestron Flex.
  • Provide support to remote enterprise VTC customers and external VTC partners.
  • Manage servers, e.g. manage backups, perform basic Windows/Linux OS troubleshooting, patch/upgrade OS and applications.
  • Familiarity with any relational database, and scripting/programming language or ETL tools, strong in Excel macros, Microsoft Access and Visual Basic.
  • Ability to design data structures, audit data integrity, support technology behind data import/export.
  • Overtime, shift work and weekend tours may be required.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of video conferencing management & troubleshooting.
  • Experience with SIP, H323, firewall traversal, call routing, Pexip Infinity, Poly Clariti, and cloud conferencing platforms (Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, WebEx).
  • Understanding of IP network connections (firewall, DNS, IP ports, routing, QOS, VPN, Zscaler).
  • Experience with VTC devices and clients (hardware VTC devices, software VTC clients, Microsoft Teams Room devices).
  • Basic server management skills (Windows/Linux OS troubleshooting, patching, upgrades).
  • Familiarity with relational databases and scripting/programming languages (Excel macros, Microsoft Access, Visual Basic).
  • Ability to design data structures and support data integrity.

  • Employee must be willing and able to obtain a government issued Top Secret Security clearance.
  • Holding a current TS is a plus.
  • Initial clearance: Public Trust and follow-on TS (#clearable)
