Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in UI engineering, with at least 2 years in a role leading or designing front-end architectures
Expertise in React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and modern web development toolkits
Experience working with REST APIs, WebSockets, and event-driven architectures
Strong familiarity with common enterprise JavaScript frameworks, such as Redux, Zustand, RxJS
Hands-on experience with advanced data grid and charting tools integrated with real-time or high-volume datasets
Experience working with both relational (Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
Expertise with low-latency, distributed caches such as Redis or Memcached
Proficiency in writing unit tests and E2E tests utilizing popular frameworks like RTL, Mocha, Jest, Cypress, Playwright
A thoughtful approach to problem-solving; Ability to break down complex issues methodically
A track record of independent executions, able to deliver UI projects or large features in collaboration with cross-functional teams with minimal guidance
Experience driving the full lifecycle of complex UI applications, from roadmap shaping to delivering scalable solutions
Cloud operation skills in system monitoring and configuration management. Proven experience in diagnosing production issues and ensuring system reliability in cloud environments

Responsibilities

Contribute to building and shaping the firm’s internal UI platform as a hands-on engineer and platform thinker
Evolve UI infrastructure that powers 100+ business applications across the firm
Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving product requirements and engaged business stakeholders
Serve as a key contributor to the UI platform and technical partner to product owners building on it
Evolve the technical stack and development tools through architectural improvements, shared components, and implementation consistency across cross-functional teams
Work closely with product teams or business stakeholders to shape feature definitions and build high-impact UI solutions directly into their applications
Handle full-stack development responsibilities, including web front-end, backend integration, API design, performance optimization, and system observability
Contribute to team’s code quality and best practices
Mentor junior engineers
Identify gaps in development lifecycles
Continuously improve the core platform and how developers build with it
