Requirements

6+ years of experience with Java or another JVM-based language, along with proficiency in the Spring framework and a deep understanding of JDBC and database internals
Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines, distributed and concurrent systems
Demonstrated ability to work independently, taking end-to-end ownership of customer problems and driving projects to successful outcomes
Excellent collaboration skills, working daily with product managers, data scientists, data analysts, engineers, and other product teams
Strong communication skills: ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
Experience with both relational and non-relational databases, including query optimization and schema design
Commitment to writing testable, high-quality code and following best coding practices, including code reviews and open feedback
Capability to propose and implement technical solutions that optimize for both latency and throughput, enabling real-time risk assessments even under heavy transaction volumes

Responsibilities

Build a financial crime prevention platform that safeguards customers against fraud and secures their money and accounts
Integrate well into the team and understand the tribe vision to contribute effectively

Gain insights into problematic payments and customer challenges, developing solutions to address them effectively
