Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience with Java or another JVM-based language, along with proficiency in the Spring framework and a deep understanding of JDBC and database internals
  • Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines, distributed and concurrent systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, taking end-to-end ownership of customer problems and driving projects to successful outcomes
  • Excellent collaboration skills, working daily with product managers, data scientists, data analysts, engineers, and other product teams
  • Strong communication skills: ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Experience with both relational and non-relational databases, including query optimization and schema design
  • Commitment to writing testable, high-quality code and following best coding practices, including code reviews and open feedback
  • Capability to propose and implement technical solutions that optimize for both latency and throughput, enabling real-time risk assessments even under heavy transaction volumes
