Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem, including various Salesforce Clouds (sales, service, experience)
  • Proficiency in declarative programming and custom programming using Apex and LWCs
  • Experience with test-driven development, creating effective unit tests, and achieving code coverage
  • Familiarity with logging, diagnostic tools, CI/CD tools (e.g., Copado), source control management (pull requests, merge conflicts)
  • Skills in refactoring, optimizing solutions, troubleshooting applications, data issues, and bug fixes
  • Experience with inbound/outbound integrations using Salesforce integration patterns
  • Understanding of Salesforce data model, data concerns, APIs, and providing OAS for callouts
  • Knowledge of Salesforce event architecture
  • Expertise in Salesforce security, sharing, and access mechanisms
  • Ability to work with middleware tools like MuleSoft
  • Experience working with multiple teams in an Agile environment, understanding cross-team dependencies
  • Willingness to support functional/nonfunctional testing teams and other developers
  • Ability to maintain architectural integrity and consistency
  • Active participation in agile product teams, defining stories, implementing, and testing to meet sprint goals
  • Capability to manage key relationships with internal/external resources, clients, and third parties
  • Willingness to work extended hours to meet deadlines and travel for conferences/training

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, document, and implement solutions and reusable assets across Salesforce Clouds using declarative and custom programming (Apex, LWCs), aligned with best practices and standards
  • Practice test-driven development with effective unit tests and code coverage
  • Implement sound logging and diagnostic tools in deployed solutions
  • Use CI/CD tools like Copado to promote changes through environments including production
  • Participate in source control management, pull request reviews, and resolving merge conflicts
  • Refactor and optimize solutions to increase team value and productivity
  • Troubleshoot applications and data issues, implement bug fixes
  • Optimize and extend features in existing Salesforce environments
  • Develop inbound and outbound integrations to/from Salesforce using various patterns
  • Participate in Salesforce data discussions, assist non-Salesforce teams with data model and concerns
  • Suggest APIs to external teams and provide OAS for callouts into Salesforce
  • Work with Salesforce event architecture and maintain existing application codebase
  • Implement security and access provisioning using Salesforce sharing mechanisms
  • Connect and work with middleware tools like MuleSoft from Salesforce
  • Collaborate with multiple teams on Agile train to understand cross-team dependencies
  • Extend support to functional and nonfunctional testing teams for product delivery
  • Support other developers on team issues to maintain output
  • Ensure architectural integrity and consistency across applications in product area
  • Live GreatAmerica principles and participate actively in agile product team (define stories, implement, test for sprint goals)
  • Perform additional duties as required
