Requirements

Candidates must have at least 5 years of relevant software engineering experience, with proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, GraphQL, React, and AWS services such as SQS, Lambda, EC2, and RDS. A strong background in backend APIs and integrations (REST or GraphQL), solid experience with SQL & NoSQL databases and event-driven systems, and familiarity with distributed systems, caching, and application security (OWASP Top 10) are required. An AWS Certification is a plus, as is a passion for writing unit and integration tests.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will build highly available, scalable systems in cloud environments, preferably AWS, using event-driven, asynchronous programming frameworks like Node.js. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, testing, and documenting maintainable, defect-free software, collaborating cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering peers, and leading by example through design reviews, mentoring, and modeling best practices.
