Requirements

More than 5 years of back-end development experience
Experience in developing large-scale systems
Bachelor degree or above in computer science or engineering related majors
Proficient in coding and scripting languages (Java/Kotlin, C++, Python, etc.) with strong software design and system design abilities
At least 5 years of experience working on Security domain, such as WAF tuning, bot management, DDoS protection, IP reputation, and rate limiting. (Minimum)
Experience of standardization and approval workflows for API routes across CDN and gateway layers. (Preferred)
Hands-on with Cloudflare or similar (e.g. caching, Workers, geo-routing, failover). (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Collaborate with various systems and teams to evolve platform capabilities through fast-paced business transformation and providing data insights
Engage with engineering teams across Airwallex's global offices, fostering effective communication
Design, develop, and maintain high-volume automated recovery pipelines by bringing cutting-edge technology to overcome multi-data center complexity and making it transparent to adopters
Troubleshoot production issues across different levels of the stack
Evolve the platform for better governance and provide data-driven insights to business teams
Contribute to the resilient, high-throughput, low-latency Notification Platform leveraging Event-Driven Architecture for scalable, reliable message delivery (SMS, Email, Push, webhook) with full traceability
Conduct comprehensive, organization-wide evaluations of strategic solutions
Address intricate, organization-wide challenges using cutting-edge technologies such as reactive programming, temporal, workflow, distributed systems, and advanced gateway solutions
