Responsibilities

Drive development of existing software and contribute to development of new software by analyzing and identifying areas for modification and improvement; develop fast, secure, and reliable software to meet defined requirements
Monitor, identify, and correct complex software defects to maintain fully functioning software, leveraging support from junior teammates
Produce multiple concepts and prototypes to design digital products/services
Research and suggest ways to optimize solutions to better meet user/business, performance, and quality needs
Drive maintenance roadmap to facilitate software development and ensure prioritization aligns with business requirements
Find root cause and resolution for issues promptly (faults diagnosis and correction)
Assign short-term work schedules to the team based on storyboarding/backlog to meet expectations and timelines
Develop own and junior team members' capabilities through assessment, development planning, training, coaching, and maintaining professional accreditation
Maintain understanding of relevant technology, regulations, and best practices via ongoing education, conferences, and specialist media
Contribute to work within an established program management plan to achieve specific goals
