Requirements

5+ years of experience in Java or Kotlin (or other JVM based language)
Strong experience with Spring framework, relational databases, distributed and concurrent systems (Kafka)
Experience in scraping technologies at scale and maintaining data accuracy
Close collaboration with product managers, data scientists, data analysts, engineers and other product teams on a daily basis
Experience in writing testable code and testing strategies, such as unit testing, integration testing
Follow best coding practices, code reviews and open feedback
Great communication skills and ability to articulate complex, technical concepts to non-technical audience
Strive to improve team culture and processes
Strong product mindset and passion for customer experience, prioritising work with customers in mind and making data-driven decisions
Ability to work independently on customer problems, taking end-to-end ownership of projects

Responsibilities

Evolve and scale the marketing platform and comparison systems
Build systems and APIs
Shape the next stage of comparison scraping strategy
Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, data analysts, engineers and other product teams
Develop new features from planning to release and monitor their adoption
Participate in quarterly plannings and propose ideas to advance the comparison product
