Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Java and SpringBoot microservices, along with solid experience utilizing Jenkins, Docker/Kubernetes on Azure or AWS cloud environments. They should also have hands-on experience with large-scale distributed systems based on microservices and experience with data pipelines processing large amounts of data in real time or near real time, and knowledgeable about Lakehouse architecture, Azure ADLS Gen2, and Apache Hudi. Furthermore, candidates should demonstrate excellent organizational, critical-thinking, and personal leadership skills, be self-starters capable of delivering with minimal supervision, and be comfortable with learning new things.
As a Senior Software Engineer, the individual will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting changes in employment legislation across North America and developing HR policies to ensure compliance. They will also conduct audits, deliver training, and advise management on HR-related risk mitigation strategies. The role involves contributing to the development and maintenance of a leading North American healthcare technology platform, focusing on employee career progression and providing internal opportunities for upward advancement, as well as offering free training on new SW technologies, project management, agile training, leading others, and improving public speaking / presentation skills.
