Candidates should have over 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a focus on backend, infrastructure, or SRE. Required skills include deep experience with a major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, Azure), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi), CI/CD systems (BuildKite, GitHub Actions, CircleCI), and proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Go, Python, Bash). Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
The Senior Software Engineer will evolve CI/CD platforms focusing on automation and security, design and maintain cloud infrastructure on GCP, and develop and manage the Kubernetes container orchestration platform. They will implement Infrastructure as Code for automated resource provisioning, lead infrastructure projects to ensure production stability, and collaborate with product engineering teams to build supporting solutions. Responsibilities also include championing cloud security and system reliability best practices, and contributing to the team's roadmap and strategy.
