Requirements

Candidates must possess a BS/BTech or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 4 years of experience as an engineer building full-stack web applications within a cross-functional team is required. Additionally, 3+ years of experience with SQL or other database querying languages on large multi-table datasets, 2+ years of experience as a technical decision-maker, and 2+ years of experience coaching other engineers are necessary. Preferred qualifications include experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, VueJs/Ember), proficiency in CSS/HTML/JavaScript, expertise in at least one server-side web technology (Nodejs, Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, Go, JVM), familiarity with relational databases and API design, experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, and experience with security and sensitive data systems.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will maintain, improve, and expand the company's web application and data pipelines, creating secure, maintainable, performant, correct, scalable, and stable solutions. They will develop and implement scalable and performant solutions, partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to develop technical roadmaps using Agile processes, and mentor and coach junior engineers through code reviews and constructive feedback.
