Requirements

Candidates should possess hands-on experience writing complex queries/aggregations on Elastic Search, solid experience with Java and modern Java frameworks, strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance, scalability, availability, and security, experience with relational and NoSQL data sources, and experience designing/building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers. Demonstrated understanding of CI/CD, building and running pipelines (ideally Jenkins, Github Actions), hands-on experience on Test Driven Development and automated integration testing, and cloud experience (ideally AWS).

Responsibilities

This Senior Software Engineer I will work in an agile scrum team to deliver high-quality software to customers, utilizing XP techniques such as test-driven development, pair programming, and continuous delivery, delivering software using modern technology stacks (microservices, single page applications), developing test automation, suggesting and implementing solutions using AWS Cloud infrastructure, working closely with Frontend, Data, System, and Quality Engineers, actively reviewing implementations, and providing input to project plans, schedules, and methodology within a T-shape model.
