Requirements

BS in Computer Science or related technical field + 8 years of experience; OR MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field + 6 years; OR equivalent practical experience as a full-stack software engineer
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and other web technologies
Demonstrated experience in building and deploying large-scale, customer-facing web applications
Experience contributing to technical vision and translating strategy into design
Ability to mentor and guide other engineers
Proven track record of successful collaboration with product management and design teams in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Agile development methodologies and project management tools
Strong understanding of web security best practices
Experience with DevOps best practices
Experience/Interest working with Vue.js highly desired

Responsibilities

Independent, end-to-end ownership of the design, development, testing, and maintenance of robust customer-facing interactive web applications. Make data-driven decisions while practicing creative problem solving
Mentor and guide other engineers within the team, promoting best practices and continuous learning
Work closely with API teams, Product, QA, and UI/UX to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality of web applications
Implement and maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and user experience. Build for scalability, observability, and security
Ensure compliance with FDA regulations for medical software, including documentation, quality assurance processes, and adherence to regulatory standards in web application development
Contribute to a culture of innovation, best practices, and continuous improvement within the team
Drive technical vision and architectural decisions
