Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or related technical field + 8 years of experience; OR MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field + 6 years; OR equivalent practical experience as a full-stack software engineer
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and other web technologies
  • Demonstrated experience in building and deploying large-scale, customer-facing web applications
  • Experience contributing to technical vision and translating strategy into design
  • Ability to mentor and guide other engineers
  • Proven track record of successful collaboration with product management and design teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and project management tools
  • Strong understanding of web security best practices
  • Experience with DevOps best practices
  • Experience/Interest working with Vue.js highly desired

Responsibilities

  • Independent, end-to-end ownership of the design, development, testing, and maintenance of robust customer-facing interactive web applications. Make data-driven decisions while practicing creative problem solving
  • Mentor and guide other engineers within the team, promoting best practices and continuous learning
  • Work closely with API teams, Product, QA, and UI/UX to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality of web applications
  • Implement and maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and user experience. Build for scalability, observability, and security
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations for medical software, including documentation, quality assurance processes, and adherence to regulatory standards in web application development
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, best practices, and continuous improvement within the team
  • Drive technical vision and architectural decisions
