Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors with minimum 7 years of experience
Strong hands-on experience with Linux operating systems, including system-level debugging and performance tuning
Deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes, with experience deploying and managing containerized applications in production
Proven track record in application development and Kubernetes-based deployment workflows
Experience designing and working with distributed and scalable architectures
Excellent coding skills in one or more languages (e.g., Go, Python, Java) and strong troubleshooting abilities
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices (plus)
Business acumen: initiative to explore alternate technologies, break down problems, document problem statements, estimate efforts, awareness of competitors and industry trends
Leadership: ability to take ownership of small and medium tasks, mentor team members, ensure understanding of issues, present clear rationale, use two-way communication to influence outcomes, identify misalignments with goals

Responsibilities

Define, develop, and evolve software in a fast-paced agile environment using latest technologies and infrastructure
Provide technical leadership to an agile team of 5-7
Work with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements and vision
Translate requirements/vision into prioritized user stories and deliver to timelines and quality standards
Work with product line leaders and architects to develop multi-generation software technology plans
Drive increased efficiency across teams, eliminating duplication and leveraging reuse
Support process improvements for development, sustaining, and support activities
Work cross-functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverables
Drive world-class quality in development and support of products
Ensure team receives consistent messages and clear understanding of business direction, strategy, and results
Engage subject matter experts for transfer of complex domain knowledge
Apply SDLC principles and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software/Product Security, Scalability, Documentation, refactoring, and Testing
