Experience building large scale distributed software systems with proven scalability and complex topologies
Experience with Kotlin, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS Aurora Postgres, or other modern technologies (willingness to learn if not all experienced)
Product-focused engineering mindset
Strong commitment to test-driven development (TDD) or behaviour-driven development (BDD)
Comfort operating in uncertainty, rapid change, and fast-moving environments
Collaborative problem-solving skills and ability to work as a team player in a flat hierarchy
Ability to communicate with key stakeholders and show passion for business objectives
Comfortable shipping code multiple times a week with focus on customer impact and quality over lines of code
Ability to work hybrid in London office 2-3 days a week (with option for up to 120 days abroad per year, subject to right to work)
