Requirements

Candidates should have 5+ years of industry experience building high-scale, data-intensive software solutions. Proficiency in Golang or Java is required, along with deep experience in distributed systems and microservices architecture. Strong data engineering skills, including designing and implementing robust ETL pipelines and understanding data replication methodologies like CDC, are necessary. Solid experience with cloud-native architecture and infrastructure, hands-on knowledge of at least one major CSP, and practical experience with Kubernetes are also essential. Exceptional production debugging skills and the ability to thrive in a high-velocity setting with significant ownership and autonomy are expected.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will design and develop a high-performance data onboarding platform capable of handling petabytes of data in real-time. They will build robust integrations with various data sources, data storages, and object storages. The role involves creating solutions that enable users to leverage ClickHouse's performance and throughput. Additionally, the engineer will collaborate with internal teams to ensure the platform aligns with customer needs and business objectives, and lead technical discussions to drive innovation and implement improvements.
