Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with 6+ years of experience as a full-stack or backend developer, demonstrating a deep understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms. They should have experience with Node.js, Serverless services (Lambda, Aurora, Fargate, API Gateway, etc.), MySQL/DynamoDB, Containerization (Docker, Fargate, EKS, etc.) and CloudFormation, and experience with building data pipelines & workflow automations using Airflow, AWS Step Functions, or similar.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer, Backend will design and develop APIs to support new features and functionality for end user applications and vehicles, write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code following industry best practices, collaborate with Product, UX, and other engineering teams to develop systems as needs evolve, mentor junior engineers on best practices for development and testing, take ownership of projects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality work, and contribute to the overall architecture and scalability of the platform.
