Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related subject area or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience designing and developing large scale Web applications with high availability and reliability, ideally in a SaaS environment
  • Experience with DevOps cloud deployment tools such as Docker, K8S, Helm, and templating
  • Experience with Splunk and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience containerizing legacy code
  • Experience improving charting, tooling, monitoring, and alerting
  • Ability to understand AWS charts
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot, understand, and solve legacy software problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to learn new technology quickly
  • Ability to work multi-functionally with other teams

  • Experience with Prometheus
  • Knowledge of Twelve-Factor methodology
  • Experience writing automated tests
  • Some knowledge or experience with Java
