Our Role

This role emphasizes a high ownership mindset. As a Senior Engineer, your responsibilities extend beyond coding to providing valuable input on feature development and the technical foundations of our systems. You will need to empathize with direct customers and end-users of AI agents to effectively solve roadmap challenges.

About You

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer, with a strong preference for Python, JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience working on AI projects involving 3rd party LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI, Azure, Anthropic).
  • Deep understanding of prompt engineering techniques, rapid iteration workflows, and evaluating LLM changes using automated and human-in-the-loop methods.
  • Proven track record of building internal experimentation and evaluation tooling to enable confident AI improvement shipping.
  • Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, and in-memory stores like Redis.
  • Ability to articulate technical decisions clearly, explaining the rationale behind architectural choices, trade-offs, and implementation details.
  • Proven experience mentoring engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.

  • Execute Ada's AI product roadmap by designing solutions and running a high volume of well-structured experiments.
  • Design and implement code abstractions and evaluation tooling to facilitate rapid iteration while preventing regressions.
  • Actively contribute to improving current development practices for AI development and experimentation.
  • Maintain a high-quality bar by reviewing team code, providing insightful feedback, and fostering a collaborative engineering community.
  • Ensure the best AI Agent platform experience by staying closely connected to customer feedback and internal team pain points.
