Requirements

Expert in core Java language (Object Oriented Design concepts, data structures)
Proficiency in Web Services such as REST and design patterns
Expert in frameworks like Spring Boot
Proficient in AWS or other cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as EKS and Docker
Good understanding of API Development process, Schema design, publishing to SwaggerHub, onboarding to Stratum Gateway
Familiar with GraphQL and Node.js
Experience working with version control systems like GIT
Experience with Spring WebFlux framework
Understanding of microservice architectures and twelve-factor app patterns
Unit and integration test automation using JUnit and Spring Boot test framework
Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins
Experience working in Agile teams, Scrum practices, and delivery to Sprint Goals
Solid knowledge of debugging and troubleshooting skills, with familiarity in using Splunk, Datadog, Loki or similar
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or engineering
Critical thinking skills to build end-to-end solutions
Passionate and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks
Ability to work well in both small agile teams and independently, with a strong user focus
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks

Responsibilities

Design and implement solutions for product features
Work closely with the technical lead and architect to build secure, scalable, resilient cloud-based services utilizing modern software development practices
Guide junior engineers and help develop their technical skills
Work with product management on requirements, decompose epics into stories, and deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations
Build scalable, resilient, cloud-based systems aligned with long-term strategy
Mentor junior software engineers
Participate in engineering practices such as code and design reviews, environment strategy, and build and deployment pipeline
