Requirements

Candidates should have 3-7 years of post-bachelor's degree experience as a software engineer, with mastery of computer science fundamentals. Proficiency in verbal and written communication is essential, along with the ability to enhance the skills of others. Experience building and maintaining software products in Java, Python, or C++ is required, as is knowledge and experience with structured (SQL) database systems and deploying solutions to the cloud.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate daily with teammates to achieve team goals, architect and build serverless microservices in the cloud, and develop software solutions using Java, Python, C++, and other modern languages. They will work with Product Owners and Managers to understand customer problems and build solutions, automate test cases, build processes, and installation packages using tools like pytest, Jenkins, Terraform, and Cloud Formation. Responsibilities also include writing user-friendly documentation, participating in scrum ceremonies, championing quality and goal attainment, conducting constructive code reviews, and identifying areas for improvement to enhance delivery of value to end users.
