Candidates should have 7+ years of practical experience as a backend developer, with proficiency in REST APIs and frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is required, along with proficiency in Agile methodology and SDLC tools like JIRA, Jenkins, GIT, JUnit, Selenium, and Lint. Experience with cloud stacks such as Azure Cloud Stack or GCP is also necessary, as is hands-on knowledge with relational databases like MySQL and Postgres. Knowledge of open-source libraries, micro-service architecture, and messaging platforms like Kafka is preferred, and knowledge of GraphQL APIs is an added advantage.
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for the design and implementation of high-performing backend systems and 3rd party integrations, building REST APIs using frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate, and developing enterprise solutions in Java/J2EE following a multi-tier architecture. They will work with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, leverage SDLC tools to enhance development, CI/CD, and testing efficiency, and implement best practices and design patterns. The role involves taking ownership of the development and design of various modules/features, prototyping technical solutions, and quickly adapting to change while learning new technologies. Responsibilities also include exhibiting strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with global resources and teams, and leading technical relationships with partners and mentoring a team of developers.
