Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or science, along with 5+ years of full stack or backend development experience. Strong experience with cloud-based software development in a microservices environment and cryptography techniques, including developing RESTful APIs secured by OAuth2/Auth, integrating asymmetric and/or symmetric encryption, and thorough knowledge of data structures, algorithms, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and in-memory data storage is required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Developer will architect and implement secure, reliable, and scalable microservices, integrate VIA’s Web3 components and privacy-preserving technologies, define and drive adoption of SDLC processes, spearhead the creation of automation pipelines, develop and execute comprehensive automated testing strategies, proactively monitor and optimize application performance, serve as a subject matter expert in privacy and security, articulate complex software designs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, rapidly grasp new technical concepts, continuously explore advancements in privacy and cryptography, and document technical processes.
