Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience, along with 6+ years of experience in engineering, development, DevOps/SRE fields, and 3+ years of experience deploying and managing systems using Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as 3+ years of experience working with Software as a Service (SaaS) applications. Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Fargate, and Infrastructure as Code tooling such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or Puppet is also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will design, build, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure in AWS, including Postgres, Redis, Docker, Queues, Kinesis Streams, and S3, while developing Python or shell scripts for automation to reduce operational toil and implement CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions. They will also establish robust monitoring and alerting systems, participate in on-call rotations, perform root cause analysis on production issues, manage AWS resources like Lambda functions and Snowflake, define Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs), collaborate with development teams, document system architectures, and spearhead the exploration of innovative infrastructure solutions.
