Requirements

  • 5+ years in Cloud/Site Reliability Engineering
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
  • Deep hands-on experience with AWS, including security, performance tuning, and cost management
  • Proficiency with DataDog, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and scripting languages (Python, Bash)
  • Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, CI/CD best practices, and Windows Server/IIS administration
  • Proven ability to mentor engineers and drive technical initiatives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
  • Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship (role not open to F1 OPT, STEM OPT, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Administer and optimize AWS environments for security, performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
  • Enhance DataDog monitoring to proactively detect and resolve issues
  • Standardize infrastructure and provide self-service access through GitOps, APIs, UIs, and other automation tools
  • Improve deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and AWS services for fast and reliable releases
  • Lead Kubernetes initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and resilience
  • Continuously improve cloud performance and reduce costs through smart resource management
  • Manage Windows Servers, IIS, SSL/TLS certificates, patching, hardening, and troubleshooting performance issues
  • Quickly diagnose and resolve complex issues across AWS environments
  • Implement best practices for cloud security and regulatory compliance
  • Guide junior engineers, foster learning, and promote a culture of operational excellence
