Position Overview

  • Salary: $126,700 - $215,400 (plus equity, variable/incentive compensation and benefits)

This role focuses on developing ServiceNow scoped applications and integrating third-party systems with the ServiceNow platform using MID server and web services (REST). You will be a lead contributor in exploring how ServiceNow can integrate with new and existing technologies.

Requirements

  • Background Screening: Must pass a ServiceNow background screening, USFedPASS (US Federal Personnel Authorization Screening Standards), which includes a credit check, criminal/misdemeanor check, and a drug test. Employment is contingent upon passing this screening.
  • Citizenship: Due to Federal requirements, only US citizens, US naturalized citizens, or US Permanent Residents holding a green card will be considered.
  • AI Integration Experience: Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
  • Technical Skills:
    • 4+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript and Rest API.
    • 4+ years with ServiceNow specific technologies: Service Catalog Items, Catalog UI Policy, Catalog Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, Notifications, Table API, ACL, and Workflow/Flow Designer.
    • Demonstrated proficiency with the use and management of ServiceNow APIs.
    • Experience with implementing multiple ServiceNow modules/products (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, CSM).
    • Experience developing and supporting ServiceNow integrations with third-party applications and data sources.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent technical design, critical thinking, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
    • Aptitude for learning new technologies.
    • Team player with attention to detail.
    • Ability to work well and communicate effectively with others.
  • ITIL/ITSM Knowledge: Rich knowledge of both ITIL and ITSM disciplines is required.

Nice to Have Qualifications

  • ServiceNow administration knowledge (e.g., instance upgrade, skipped and customization change resolution).
  • ServiceNow Application Developer Certification.
  • ServiceNow System Administrator Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Develop ServiceNow scoped applications utilizing the full platform functionality.
  • Develop and support the integration of 3rd party systems with ServiceNow, including MID server and web services (REST).
  • Create and maintain API and data integrations between ServiceNow and other services.
  • Act as a lead contributor in defining how ServiceNow can be used to integrate with new and existing technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Pay: $126,700 - $215,400 (guideline, actual compensation varies based on qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location).
  • Additional Compensation: Equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation.
