A strong understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, link building, and local SEO is necessary, as is up-to-date knowledge of Google algorithms, AI search technologies, and SEO trends. Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Looker Studio is required, alongside exceptional client communication skills, strong organizational abilities, a keen analytical mindset, and the capacity for rapid adaptation and problem-solving.
The Senior SEO Strategist will lead organic strategy and execution for a client portfolio, ensuring measurable performance and alignment with client objectives. This role involves serving as the primary SEO contact for client reviews, delivering clear reporting and insights, and presenting strategies in an educational and compelling manner. Key duties include monitoring algorithm updates and AI search changes to proactively adjust strategies, collaborating with internal teams to ensure best practices, conducting technical SEO audits, keyword research, and competitive analysis. The strategist will also utilize SEO tools to measure performance, translate complex SEO concepts for clients, develop and manage 90-day client reviews, and mentor SEO team members.
