Requirements

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in a relevant field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 10 years of experience, and a deep understanding of both medicinal chemistry and NMR spectroscopy as applied to small molecule drug discovery. Strong expertise in hit to lead approaches, including library expansion and parallel chemistry is highly valued.

Responsibilities

The Senior Scientist will be responsible for further developing the strategy for NMR spectroscopy, maintaining the NMR facility to ensure optimal performance, obtaining and interpreting multidimensional NMR data, providing detailed reports and insights on chemical structures and properties, developing and optimizing NMR methods, maintaining accurate records of experiments and analyses, providing training and technical support, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
