Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in lab sciences such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Material Science, Immunology, Biology, or Molecular Biology, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Previous experience comparable to 8+ years is required, or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or a PhD with 3+ years of experience. Biological lab background and experience in commercial and late-stage drug development are desired.
As a Group Leader, the individual will provide management and direction to remote laboratory staff at client sites, assist in the recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of new staff, and provide administrative resources for employee activities and needs. They will meet regularly with client contacts to monitor staff performance, project timeliness, and build customer relationships, demonstrating flexibility to accommodate different time zones. The Group Leader will track Key Performance Indicators and metrics, establish and develop relationships with clients, and independently develop project proposals and plans. They will also cultivate a collaborative work environment, train and mentor junior staff, and travel to various site locations.
