Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred. They must have at least 6 years of Salesforce application development experience and hold a Salesforce Platform Developer I certification or higher level certification. Expertise in CPQ, LWC, Apex, VisualForce, SOQL/SOSL, and Javascript is required, along with experience using Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud; Commerce Cloud experience is preferred. Proficiency in Salesforce SOAP API, REST API, and BULK API, as well as Web UI frameworks in Visualforce pages or Lightning components, is also necessary. Experience with CI/CD DevOps procedures, GitHub, GearSet, and familiarity with sfdx is a plus.
The Senior Salesforce Developer will develop efficient and quality code supported by the Salesforce platform, understanding the scope and timeline of assigned programs and collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and provide technical expertise. They will conduct product demonstrations in Sprint Reviews, presenting technical solutions through POCs as applicable and required, actively participate in scrum ceremonies, and possess a strong bias for action to respond to Production disruptions and resolve them as they happen. The role involves adhering to Salesforce best practices, maintaining code documentation, writing/maintaining test classes, writing maintainable code with extensive test coverage, and following release cycles and continuous integration/continuous deployment practices. They will work closely with technical SMEs to analyze business needs and design tailored solutions using Salesforce products and platform capabilities, offering recommendations for optimizing existing implementations, contributing to technical documentation, and continuously learning about the latest Salesforce features and updates.
