Requirements

  • Passionate about solving water challenges and committed to sustainability, innovation, and customer expectations
  • Experience managing and growing a sales territory, particularly in light industry sales (e.g., aerospace, beverage, government, health sciences, microelectronics, pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, universities, labs, general industry)
  • Ability to specify and sell customized water treatment solutions, including pretreatment, generation, storage, and distribution for high purity and wastewater applications
  • Focus on selling ongoing preventative maintenance services
  • Proficiency in using CRM for advancing opportunities, forecasting, and SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning)
  • Ability to work safely with a sense of urgency, collaborate cross-functionally, and identify opportunities to increase sales volume while meeting service levels
  • Developing knowledge of company products, services, customer technology, and industry to recommend best solutions for complex products and services
  • Comfortable engaging customers through face-to-face meetings, various mediums, site visits, sales presentations, product demos, webinars, lunch & learns, and trade shows

Responsibilities

  • Contacts both new and existing customers to sell new and recurring business
  • Gathers site information and uses it to create and deliver customer proposals
  • Ensures customer satisfaction and retention by working across multiple departments to ensure flawless execution
  • Accurately records information in CRM for forecasting
  • Stays up to date on company and customer technology to remain a trusted partner
  • Conducts sales presentations and product demos
  • Facilitates new customer engagements (webinars, lunch & learns, trade shows, etc.)
  • Sells complex products and services; utilizes knowledge to recommend best solutions
  • Acts as point of contact post-sale for ongoing customer satisfaction, retention, and business growth
  • Maintains relationships with accounts by visiting customer sites within the assigned territory
  • Responds to inquiries and offers bold recommendations on appropriate products and solutions
  • Advances opportunities through sales stages in CRM and ensures accountability for CRM data
